Heritage of Hill County, Texas Volume II for Sale
The Heritage of Hill County, Texas Volume II is currently on sale for $45.00 each as long as supplies last. The grass roots history of Hill County may be purchased at the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, 115 North Covington Street. The Chamber office is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Books may also be bought at the Hill County Cell Block Museum which is open on Saturdays, April through October, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is at 128 N. Waco Street in Hillsboro. Mollie Stinson, phone 254-582-3242, also has the books for sale. Proceeds from the book sales go to the Hill County Genealogical Society and the Hill County Cell Block Museum. Please make checks payable to The Hill County Genealogical Society, special account.
Stories and photos of families submitted by descendants, along with memories about communities, churches, and schools are featured in the book. Veterans and Hill County Sheriffs each have a section.
Orders for books to be shipped may be mailed to Heritage of Hill County, Texas, Vol. II Committee, P. O. Box 1134, Hillsboro, TX 76645. Make checks payable to Hill County Genealogical Society, special account and include shipping costs of $8.00 for a total of $53.00.
