applicants should include a marriage license if they wish to file in the
married name. Otherwise, the applicant may file in her maiden name and no
marriage license is required. Applications will be filed in the Hillsboro
City Library in the genealogical section in a locked file cabinet. The files
do not leave the library. Hill County Genealogical Society members make
copies that are requested by researchers. No copies are made of birth
certificates of living persons. |
