Combest Family Funeral Homes Linda Frances Westbury September 5, 1942 - July 13, 2012 Linda Westbury, 69 of Lubbock passed away Friday, July 13, 2012. She was born September 05, 1942 in Haskell to Arthur and Francis (Denison) McDonald. She graduated from Haskell High School. She married William Prater, August 25, 1958 and he preceded her in death in 1983. Linda married Herbert Westbury November 23, 1990 in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Herbert; one daughter, Karla Unrein and husband Roger of Lubbock; one stepdaughter, Sandi Norwood and husband J. R of Midland; one son, Alan Prater and wife Melissa of Amarillo; one stepson Daniel C Westbury of Lubbock; one brother, Arthur McDonald and wife Barbara of Keller; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Prater, and a son. Family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Lubbock. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Bacon Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Truman Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Haskell Cemetery
