John Love, 62, passed away on August 4,
2012. He was born September 29, 1949, in Merkel,

Indies. He was a talented artist, making the world a more
beautiful place through his paintings on canvas as well as the lush,
intricate gardens he created. His legacy of designing and planting as well as
educating others about horticulture is manifested throughout Antigua, especially in the gardens that greet each
visitor upon arrival to the island at the airport and in the Sticky Wicket
Cricket Field he planted in 2004. John maintained dual citizenship with
Antigua and the United States
for over 20 years and chose to retire near his family in Kerrville, Texas
in 2010.
John is preceded in death by his parents.
