Thoma LaRue
Beauchamp DeBusk
Dallas

LaRue Beauchamp DeBusk, 83, entered her enternal life with our Lord, Jesus Christ on February 23, 2012. LaRue was born to William and Hallie Hardy on March 6, 1928 in Avoca, TX. She lived a joyful life for 80 plus years in the small country towns of central west Texas.

LaRue married Bob Beauchamp on June 6, 1948. Throughout their years of marriage she dedicated her life to her husband, daughter, church, and chosen vocation as a dental assistant where for over two decades she delighted in telling Dr. Bill Kemp how to run his practice. She enjoyed the fellowship and teachings of her Baptist Sunday School classes in Haskell and Anson, and her morning devotionals were a part of her daily life until she couldn't remember where she put her Bible! LaRue, "MiMi", discovered what little boys were made of as she relished in the joys of her four grandsons.

On May 9, 1987 a new season of LaRue's life began with the marriage to Billy Hugh DeBusk of Anson, TX. LaRue experienced new adventures as the wife of a man who loved and lived his life off the land - in west Texas terms, a farmer. As LaRue progressed through the stages of Alzheimer's, Bill remained steadfast and committed in the loving care of her daily life.

LaRue was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Howard Beauchamp, her two brothers and a stepson Billy Dwight DeBusk. She is survived by her only child Jackie Beauchamp Tomlinson, her husband Buddy; four grandsons, Brady and wife Lauren, Blake, Brice and Bowie; sister, Lou Etta Cox; brother, Bobby Hardy; stepdaughter, Cindy DeBusk and step grandchildren, Travis Jones, David DeBusk, Emily Knolls, Gina Dicus, Ashley DeBusk.

A memorial service will be held in Dallas, TX at Dallas Bible Church, 15765 Hillcrest Road, on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 3:00 pm. Graveside services will be held in Haskell, TX at the Willow Cemetery on Monday, February 27th at 2:00 pm. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Churches of Haskell or Anson, TX.
