Eva Beauchamp, 101,
passed away in Haskell,
Texas, October 24, 2011.
Services will be held at
the First Baptist Church
at 2:00 p.m. Friday,
October 28, 2011 in
Rochester with Elder
Dale Turnerfficiating.
Burial will be at the
Rochester Cemetery under
the direction of Smith
Family Funeral Homes.
Bertie was born November
1, 1909 in Bridgeport,
Texas to Robert Edgar
and Elmira Myra (Eaton)
McNiel. She married P.G.
Beauchamp in Anson,
Texas on March 28, 1926
and has lived in Haskell
County 101 years. Bertie
was a member of
Primitive Baptist Church
of Rule since June of
1926. She was a devoted
housewife and mother.
Bertie is survived by
her two sons, Jim
Beauchamp and wife
Junita of Rochester and
Larry Beauchamp and wife
Frankie of Lawn, Texas;
two daughters, Ada Pope
of Haskell and Joyce
Hester of Rule; 13
grandchildren; 27
great-grandchildren; and
8 great-great
grandchildren.
She is preceded in death
by her parents, Robert
and Elmira McNiel; her
husband P. G. Beauchamp,
Sr.; son, P. G.
Beauchamp, Jr.;
grandson, Rocky Boggs;
nine brothers; three
sisters; and two
son-in-laws, Sydney
Hester and John Pope.
In lieu of flowers
memorial can be made to
Rochester Cemetery
Association or Primitive
Baptist Church, Rule,
Teas.
