Poor Farm
My uncle owned the "Poor Farm", and his daughter owns it now.
I have been working with the
Guadalupe County Historical group in an effort to get any and all
cemeteries registered with TxDot so they won't be building highways on
gravesites.
I am 75 years old, have lived in
Kingbury all my life. My dad was Frank Schmidt, longtime
county clerk of Guadalupe County.

The Poor Farm is on Geronimo Creek across from
Crossroads
Veterinary Clinic on Hwy 90.
Recently I was adding death
certificates to the San Geronimo Cemetery and came across the following
persons. I do not know if there are tombstones. I thought I
would add these to the Cemetery List. Wanda Qualls
In 1927 Herm. Dietz owned the Property for the Poor Farm.
