Military Service
1836 - 1923. Enlisted in Co A, 27th LA Inf. Enlisted at Camp Moore on March 29, 1862. Captured and paroled at Vicksburg, MS on 4 Jul 1863. He was a resident of Mesa in Grimes County when he applied for his pension. He was the son of James Henry Worsham and Margaret McKneely.
