1836 - 1923. Enlisted in Co A, 27th LA Inf. Enlisted at Camp Moore on March 29, 1862. Captured and paroled at Vicksburg, MS on 4 Jul 1863. He was a resident of Mesa in Grimes County when he applied for his pension. He was the son of James Henry Worsham and Margaret McKneely.
William and Tennessee are buried at Lake Grove Cemetery, near the Mesa Community, Grimes County, Texas.
