Died: 08 Sep 1871 in Red Top, Grimes County, Texas
Daughter of George W. Turrentine and Lucy Ware
Children:
Luther Whitfield, Frances Ann [Fannie], Sarah Lucy, Camilla, Susan Emma, Elizabeth Hall, Andrew Henry, Texanna H., Georgia C., and William P. Blount
William and Sarah are buried at Shiro Red Top Cemetery, Grimes County, Texas, just off State Highway 30
Inscription says:
They were married in Georgia in 1843,
Later moved to Alabama and about
1852 came to Texas settling in the Red
Top Community where they reared
eleven children: Luther, Fannie, Sarah,
Camilla, Susan, Elizabeth, Andrew,
Texanna, Araminta, Georgia, William
