This is a predominantely African American cemetery. It is listed on death certificates as Grange Hall or Granger Hall Cemetery, south of Courtney. It is located on property belonging to the Harris family. According to Sandi Costa, she was told by Harris family members that their grandfather tore down the Hall in the 1940's to build their home.
The stone of Tobbie Harris is the only one still standing. There are several stone markers with names no longer visible. There are a lot of depressions with rocks laying nearby. The Harris family buried many of their slaves in this cemetery.
