Taken in September 1997 at the Preston (Bennett) Cemetery located south of Roans Prairie off of Hwy. 90 and County Road 280. There is a highway sign indicating the location of this Historical Monument on Highway 90.

This cemetery is listed as the "Lindley Cemetery" in GRIMES COUNTY CEMETERIES, BOOK TWO, compiled by John R. Maxwell.
