 SCHUETTE,  ARTHUR LUEDECKE

 

Advocate News Service obit: A. L. Schuette, El Campo, Arthur Luedecke Schuette, 80, of El Campo, died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital following a long illness. Born Aug. 13, 1893 in Goliad County, he was a retired school teacher. He had been a resident of El Campo for 21 years. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ed Lampe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park in El Campo. Survivors include his wife, Lydia; two sons, Harlan & Glen, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Friedrichs of Goliad, and four grandchildren. Wheeler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

 STEHLE,  CECELIA

 

From newspaper Advocate News Service obit: Cecelia Stehle, 91, of Goliad, died Saturday evening at a Goliad hospital. She was born on Jan 14, 1895, in Goliad, and was the daughter of the late August & Josephine Foerster Mueller. A housewife, she was a member of the Lutheran Church. The body will lie in state at St. John's Lutheran Church Monday from 9 a.m. until time for services at 10 a.m. The Rev. Merle Bolte will officiate. Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery. Colonial Funeral Home of Goliad will be in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Stehle is survived by two sister, Rosie Albrecht and Josephine Mueller, and a brother, Willie Mueller of Goliad.
