Regarding your information on this page for the 1850 census:
The couple you have identified as South, Spencer & South, Anna should be the
last name Smith. I think Lyman is probably their son. Anna was a Wight, but
I'm not sure how she is related to other Wight's on the page.
By the 1870 census I have them in Gallands Corner IA.
