Gladys Oney Blacklock and her children: Jackie, Bobby, RJ, CW, Billy and Sue Jean

| Bernard Marvin "Bunt"
Blacklock was born Nov. 9,
1896 in Callahan Co., TX; the next to the oldest child of Clark
Wilson and Amanda Lou (Edwards) Blacklock.
He married Gladys Geneva Oney
of a large family of Oney's of Coryell Co., TX on Sept 25, 1916.
Their chidren were: Hulon, CW, RJ, Billy Wayne, Jackie Harrel, Bobby Carroll and Sue Jean. Sue Jean the last and only daughter being born in 1936. All the children were born in Coryell Co., TX. As of this date (2004) Hulon, CW, and Billy Wayne are deceased. Jackie lives in Post, Bobby lives in Temple, and Sue Jean lives in Tennessee. Hulon died of pneumonia at age 17. The rest lived to adulthood and all resided in Post Garza Co. for a long period of their lives.

Gladys lived on the
corner by the highway, across from the swimming pool. I can still see
him sitting out on the front porch. Uncle
Bunt worked for Post Tex Cotton Mill and retired in 1961.
Bunt died May 7, 1965
at his son's in Crosby Co. TX. Gladys
died July 29, 1981 in
Post, Tx. Both are buried in Post's Terrace Cemetery
