BONHAM--Virgie Lea Winkler, 88, of Bedford and formerly of Bonham, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997, in Bedford. // Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel in Bonham with Rev. Gene Owens officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, near Ravenna. // Surviving are her sons, Robert Winkler of Denison and Donald Winkler of Bonham; daughters, Sue Jewett of Springtown, Fay Ross of Euless and Kay Cross of Grand Prairie; stepdaughters, Helen (Hasten)  Hunt and Dorothy Kincaid, both of Denison; 11 grandchildren, 15-great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren and sister, Francis Gaines of Mammoth, Ore. (SUBMITTERS NOTE: Virgie Lea Winkler was the widow of Ben Winkler of Ravenna, TX  She was the daughter of Samuel L. and Emma E. KIGHT who lived near Ravenna. Ben WINKLER was the son of William Henry WINKLER, Sr. and Martha COOK WINKLER who lived near Ravenna.
