The first lady from the left
that is kneeling in the front row is Mrs.
Oscar Ferguson and the child
to her left is her daughter Bess Ferguson, .
Bess later married James Whitehurst.
Mrs. Ferguson was Della Ann Stapp.
Evelyn Wicke wrote:
"My great grandmother, Mary Alice Hardman
lived in Leonard from about 1890 until her death in 1951.
