Paved ROADS!????
Why are they paved when roads people
live on a few miles away are not?
When were they paved?

So far someone responded that they were from the WPA in the mid 1930's. So why haven't they
been patched and used ? where is everyone who might have lived along them?

The road Photographs were made in roads that go through the yellow area.
There are a lot of roads there that are not showing on any of the maps.

The asphalt is much smoother than that I see used today.
It is less porous and harder. The grass is coming from the cracks in the center of the road. Though it is worn and broken it had NO PATCHES and no sign it had potholes originally. Wish the highway dept. had this recipe today. No one lives on any of the roads here.

Some Pavement is broken but it is solid in other places.
