Obituary of Lee Roy Bailey

Lee Bailey

LEONARD – Funeral services for Lee Roy Bailey, 75, of Trenton, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Leonard Cemetery. He died Monday at Wilson and Jones Hospital in Sherman.
Mr. Bailey was born Jan. 2, 1914, in Leonard to I. Z. and Nancy Bailey. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army, was retired from Burlington Industries in Sherman and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Bailey of Trenton; two sons, Jerry Bailey of Trenton and Bobby Bailey of Tom Bean; one daughter, Shirley Whitsel of Dallas; two brothers, Joe Bailey and Ebb Bailey, both of Plainview; one sister, Ola Johnson of Plainview and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
