BOKCHITO MAN DIES; BURIAL AT RANDOLPH - Bokchito - Funeral for Benjamin Foster Spicer, 77, a native of Fannin County, Tex., who died of a heart attack at his home here Wednesday, has been scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Murray Funeral Service chapel with burial in the Randolph, Tex. Cemetery.
  Spicer was married in  Randolph in 1909.  He was a retired farmer, who had lived in Bryan County since 1935.  He was a Baptist.
   Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dolly (Bodine) Spicer; two sons, Marion of Durant and Foster of Bokchito; two daughters, Mrs. Kathrine Early of Grapevine, Tex., and Mrs. Mildred Rosson of Fort Worth; two brothers, J.L. of California, and A.E. of Randolph; two sisters, Mrs. Adlie (nee Adealia Evelyn A. Spicer ) Partain of Fort Worth and Mrs. Soxie Medlin (nee Cyoxie Virginia Lee Spicer) of Randolph and eight grandchildren. (Benjamin Foster Spicer was the son of Aldine Evans Fanellan Spicer and Virginia Lucy Blanton and the grandson of Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone.)

BELLS - Services, for Mrs. Annie E. Blanton of Bells, 75-year old retired beautician who died Monday at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Earnheart Funeral Chapel.
   The Rev. Ernest Walt, Methodist minister of Commerce, will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
   Mrs. Blanton was born in Amity, Ark., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Will  (Maggie Harvey) Terry, and married Irving B. Blanton on March 2, 1927.
She was a Methodist.
   Surviving are her husband; brother Lawrence Terry of Ire... (torn) and sisters, Mrs. Edna Orme... (illegible), Bonham and Mrs. Marie Powell, ...Fort Worth.
   The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

JULIA BLANTON - Graveside services for Julia "Judy" (nee Spearman) Blanton,71 year-old housewife of Sherman who died December 11, were held December 17 at Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth.
   Mrs. Blanton was born in Royse City and married Tom Blanton in April 1980.  She formerly lived in Fort Worth.
   Surviving are her husband; sister, Mrs. George Riley of Fort Worth; sons, John Collier of Boston, Mass, Riley Morris of Chester, W.Va; and three granddaughters.   (Tom Robert Blanton was the son of William Foster Blanton and Rebecca Virginia Wrenn and the grandson of Thomas Jefferson Blanton and
Louisa Jane Locke and of Robert W. Wrenn and wife Amanda Julian - maiden surname unknown.  Tom's paternal g-grandparents were Josiah Blanton and Lucy Westbrook.)


RUBY MINCHEY - Leonard - Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Minchey, 68, of Leonard, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Taylor Funeral Chapel with Rev.Abe Agea and Rev. Danny Henderson officiating.  Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery.
   Mrs. Minchey died Monday in a Bonham hospital.  She was born Oct. 7, 1923, in Leonard, the daughter of Sam Jackson and Hettie Ferguson Brake.
She married Jack Minchey on May 1, 1961, in Leonard.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leonard.
   Survivors include four sons, David Hallmark of Sulphur Springs, Larry Hallmark of Dorchester, Billy Hallmark of Irving and Thomas Hallmark of Dallas; one daughter, Brenda Radke of Plano; one (half) brother, Tommy Hall of Princeton; two step-sisters, Zettie Browning and Pauline Daughrity of Trenton; and seven grandchildren
   She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 23, 1987.
   The family will receive visitors 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  (Research note: Ruby Minchey was the step daughter of Benjamin Richard Hall, son of John Franklin Hall and Josephine Evaline Blanton.)

B.A. BROWNING
   Trenton - Services for Benjamin A. Browning of Seagoville, 47, tile setter who die Saturday at a Bonham hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m.Monday at the First Baptist Church in Trenton, conducted by the Rev Gary
Payne of the First Baptist Church of Trenton.
   Burial will be in Burns Cemetery under the direction of Earnheart Funeral Home.
He was born in Trenton and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence A. Browning of Trenton. He married Mable J. Russell November 5, 1967, in Dallas. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict.
   Surviving are his parents; his wife of Seagoville; sons, William Albert Browning [sic - should be William Benjamin Browning]  of Seagoville and Benjamin A. Browning Jr. of Dallas; daughter, Kathleen Lacky of Dallas; stepdaughters, Laverne Cornell, Margaret Cornell and Nettie Fern Cornell all of Seagoville; brothers, James Claude Browning of Trenton, Clarence Browning Jr. of Dallas; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hall of Leonard and six grandchildren.
   Pallbearers are Lafayette Latimer, Weldon Grounds, Carl R. Johnson, R. Mullins, Joe Kent and S.P. Brake.
The family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m.

   Research Note:  Benjamin Allen "Pate" Browning was married two times. His first wife was Letha Eula Thurman by whom he had two children, Maggie Kathleen and Benjamin A. Browning, Jr.  He had one child, William Benjamin, by his second wife, Mable Janice Russell.  B.A. was the grandson of Benjamin Richard Hall and Mattie Mae Scroggins and of Albert N. Browning and Melissa Schmitz.  His maternal g-grandparents were John Franklin Hall and Josephine Evaline Blanton and his great-great grandparents were Richard H.
Hall and Jane Elizabeth Jolly and Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone.)
