"The Caddo Herald" December 18, 1925 on the front page, column 4.
"Saturday at the home of her mother on the Goin place; ten miles east of
Caddo, Mrs Ben Wilkey (sic - Winkler) died.  The remains were embalmed and
taken to Bonham, Texas, Sunday for burial.  Mrs Wilkie (sic Winkler) lived
in Bonham, was 24 years of age and was visiting her mother when death over took her."  The Caddo Herald was a weekly paper.

     Researcher's note: Ruby Mae Blanton Winkler is buried in the Fairview Cemetery, near Ravenna, Fannnin Co., TX.  Ruby was the daughter of John E.A. Blanton and Margaret Elizabeth Keller.  She was the granddaughter of Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone and the g-granddaughter of Josiah Blanton and wife Lucy Westbrook Blanton and of Joseph R. Boone and Virginia E.M. Crenshaw Boone.
DEATH RECORDS for Ruby Mae Blanton Winkler can be found in Fannin Co., TX records Bk 3, p. 37 which reveal that she died  12-12-1925 of T.B.  That she was 24 yrs. 3 mo. 5 days and that the Informant was B. T. Maddox,
Registar,Caddo, OK.
