  William Paul "Bill" Wilson, 78, who retired as a supervisor for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, passed from this life Friday,May 30, 2003, at a veterans home here.   Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Millican Little Funeral Home in Savoy. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery family plot in Bells.
  He was born March 30, 1925, in Bells, Texas, the son of Paul H. and Ella Kathryn Wilson. He had lived in a nursing home in Richland Hills
from December 1999 until June 2001.
  Bill had been a member of First Baptist Church of Bells since 1938, a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Retired Officers Association and the American Quarter Horse Association.
  Bill was a 1942 graduate of Bells High School in Bells, a World War II Navy veteran, who served from 1942 to 1946 and received four battle stars for service in the Pacific Theater and was an officer for 30-plus years after joining the old Texas Liquor Control Board. He was a supervisor in El Paso and Victoria.
  Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles R. Wilson; and brother-in-law, Col. Robert L. Ramsey.
  Survivors: Brother, Jerry Wilson and wife, Betty of Fort Worth; sisters, Betty Jo Ramsey of Vienna, Va., and Mary Ellen Sharp and husband, Charles of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; nephews, Jim Wilson of Hurst, John Wilson of Gilbert, Ariz., Charles Wilson of San Francisco, Calif.; and niece, Holly Reasoner of Hernden, Va.  Published in the Star-Telegram on 6/1/2003.
