Mildred Dobbs Shelton

                 MILDRED DOBBS was born in Honey Grove, Texas to John Thomas Dobbs
                 and Edith Powell Dobbs. She passed away at Baylor University Center I Dallas,
                 Texas on October 15, 2002. She was a graduate of Honey Grove High School
                 and Draughan's Business College in Dallas. She was an employee of Lone Star
                 Gas Company for many years, taking early retirement. Mildred married Jack J.
                 Shelton on January 1, 1941. Jack preceded her in death April 3, 1994. Mildred
                 was a member of the First Christian Church of Honey Grove. Through the years
                 she and Jack were very active in all church and community activities and they
                 were loved by all. The deceased is survived by two sisters, Yvonne Dobbs and
                 Marjorie Dobbs, both of Richardson, Texas. She also leaves several nieces, a
                 nephew, cousins and a host of friends. She is also survived by her extended
                 family, John, Betty, Kelly, and Malt Groves, David, Trixie, Camie and Happy
                 Carlock, and Nancy Carlock Rogers. Services are to be held Thursday, Oct. 17,
                 2002 at the the First Christian Church of Honey Grove. Under the direction of
                 Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour before service
                 time at the church.
