RAVENNA-Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Clive Perry age 92 of Ravenna will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 26 at the Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham with Rev. James Rogers officiating.  Internment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ravenna.  Mr. Perry passed away Tuesday night in Northeast Medical Center in Bonham.  He was born July 28, 1906 in Ellis Co., Texas, the son of the late Dock Frank & Floy Lee Hasten Perry.  He was married to Ora Dell Trout Perry on October 25, 1925 in Bonham and she preceded him in death on April 30, 1994.  Mr. Perry was a farmer, gin manager and bookkeeper for Kimbell Gins in Bonham and Ravenna for 34 years.  He joined Ravenna Baptist Church on 8-22-1922 where he was elected church treasurer on August 21, 1928 and a deacon in 1934.  He was tax accessor in the Ravenna and Ivanhoe district for 12 years.  He organized Ravenna and Nunnelee water district and was president and operator for several years.  He also helped organize Ravenna Community Club and was a Ravenna Cemetery official.  Mr. Perry served as president of County Council of Rural Community Clubs in Fannin County.
Surviving are his brother, George William Perry of Ravenna, TX, Sister-in-law Alberta (Trout) Merrell of Ravenna, TX.  Several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife and parents Mr. Perry was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph L. Perry and sister Lola Bostick.  The family will receive friends from 7-8 PM Thursday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
