CAMPBELL, JERRY JOHNSON Jeroleen "Jerry" Johnson
Campbell, 100, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother,
died peacefully Friday afternoon, August 16, 2002 at a local
retirement center. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 22,
at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William F. Galbraith III
will officiate. Cremation: Jerry's cremated remains will be placed next
to those of her husband, Ralph, in the Columbarium at the church.
Visitation: Her family will receive friends immediately following the
service in the Eastminster Room at the church. Memorials: Those
desiring, please make memorial contributions in Jerry's name to St.
Stephen Presbyterian Church or to a charity of choice. A native of
Whitewright, Jeroleen King Johnson was born May 1, 1902, the
daughter of Earl Randolph and Mary King Johnson. She married
Ralph Gunn Campbell in 1930; Mr. Campbell died in 2000. Jerry
was a graduate of Ward - Belmont College and received her music
certificate from Texas Christian University. She moved to Fort Worth
in 1923 and joined the Broadway Presbyterian Church, now St.
Stephen, and was president of the Women of the Church. She was
the last surviving member of the "Friday Bridge Club," founded in
1917, and was a 60 year member of the Woman's Club of Fort
Worth and a former board member of Cumberland Rest Retirement
Home. Survivors: Daughter, Jere Campbell Robertson and her
husband, William A., Jr.; son, Ralph G. "Buz" Campbell, Jr. and his
wife, Kay, all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, William A. Robertson III,
Douglas Campbell Robertson and Paul Campbell and his wife,
Mirielle, and Scott Campbell; and caregivers, June Conaty, Edith
Bondage, Margie Felton and Lorene Gray. Robertson Mueller Harper 1500 Eighth Ave.
