W.L. HALL DIES AT DENISON, SUNDAY - Funeral services for Walter Lonzo Hall were held Tuesday afternoon, January 24th at the First Baptist Church in Leonard, with Rev. Caraway, pastor of
Trenton Methodist Church officiating.  // Burial was in Leonard Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home directing.  // Pallbearers were:  Ben Hall, Otis Hall, Floyd Hall, Harvey Hall, Floyd E. Hall,
Jr. and Odell Hall.  //Mr. Hall was bornApril 13, 1876 in Fannin County, son of Richard and Jane (Jolly) Hall.  A former resident of Leonard, he had made his home in Denison the past eleven-
years.  He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.  // Survivors are his wife, who resides at Denison; one daughter, Mrs. E.S.Brister, Bokchito, Okla; three sons, Frank Melvin and
Guy Hall, all of Bokchito, one step-son, E.S. Mitchell, Abilene; twelve grandchildren,thirty-nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Tiger, Leonard;
Mrs. Minnie Foster, Foster, Okla. (researcher's note:  W.L. Hall was Walter Lonzo Hall aka Walter Alonzo Hall aka Lonnie Hall. His first wife and the mother of his childrenwas Mary Ann
Almira "Myra" Blanton.  They were divorced. His second wife was Louveica Ann Sampson Mitchell, widow of Elgie Sanders Mitchell.)

MRS. MYRIA HALL FUNERAL HELD AT BLANTON CHAPEL - Funeral services for Mrs. Myria Hall of Bokchito, Okla. were held Saturday at Blanton Chapel Church.  Rev. H. V. Caraway pastor of Trenton Methodist Church officiated.  // Burial was made in Randolph Cemetery with Holmes Funeral Home of Durant, Okla. in charge.  // Mrs. Hall died Thursday, August 2, 1956, in a Sherman hospital.  // Surviving are one daughter and three sons, all residents of Bokchito.  // Mrs. Hall was an aunt of F. E. Hall of Leonard.  // Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Odell Hall and daughter and Mrs. Orville Latimer of Dallas; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hall, Jr. and D. Franklin of Bonham.

MRS. M.A. HALL'S RITES SATURDAY
   BOKCHITO - Funeral services will be held at Blanton Chapel Methodist church near Trenton, Tex., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. for Mrs. M.A. Hall, longtime Bryan county resident, who died in a Sharman, Tex., hospital early today after an extended illness.  Burial, under direction of Holmes Funeral home will be in the Randolph, Tex., cemetery where grandsons will be pallbearers.
   Born at Leonard, Tex., September 18, 1877, Mrs. Hall had lived in Bryan county since 1911 and was a member of the Methodist church.    Survivors include three sons, Frank, Melvin and guy Hall, Bokchito, route 2, a daughter, Mrs. E.S. Brister, Bokchito, route 1; a sister, Mrs. Eva Hall; 12 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.

MRS. EVA HALL WILL CELEBRATE 93rd BIRTHDAY MONDAY - Mrs. Eva Hall will celebrate her 93rd birthday on Monday May 20th.  //
Mrs. Hall has spent her entire life in Fannin County having been born near Porters May 30, 1870, the daughter of Rev. Benjamin and Sarah Boone Blanton.  The family moved from Porters to about three miles west of Leonard where the Blanton Chapel now stands.  Her father, a
Methodist minister, donated the ground that the church was built on.  Mrs. Hall is now the oldest living member of the church.  // She was married to the late John S. Hall who passed away in 1935.  She continued to live in her home near the church where she had moved 51 years ago, after her husband's death, until just a few years ago when her health began to fall.  Since then she has lived in the homes of her children.  They are Ben Hall and Floyd Hall of Leonard, Otis Hall of Dodd City and Mrs. Sallie Latimer of Trenton.

Unidentified newspaper, probably the Leonard or Trenton paper, Oct. 1963)Funeral services will be held Sunday October 6, 1963 for Josephine Evelyn "Edna" Hall, 93, of Blanton Chapel, who died Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Latimer in Trenton.  She was the oldest member of the Blanton Chapel Methodist Church west of Leonard.  Mrs. Hall was born May 20, 1870 in the Porter community, the dau of Mr. & Mrs. Benj Blanton.  She had lived in Blanton Chapel community since she was six years old.  On Nov 15, 1888 she married John F. Hall.  He died in 1935.  Survivors besides her daughter are: three sons, Ben Hall and Floyd Hall of Leonard and Otis Hall of Dodd City, 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.  (Researcher's
note:  Josephine Evaline Blanton was granddaughter of Josiah Blanton and Lucy Westbrook and of Joseph R. Boone and Virginia E.M. Crenshaw.  Her paternal great-grandparents were Jeremiah Blanton and Sarah Rebecca Wommack and William Howell Westbrook and Rebecca Mary Stroud.  Her maternal great-grandparents were Henry Boone and wife Mary.)

RITES HELD FOR MRS. EDNA HALL - Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Blanton Chapel Methodist Church east of Trenton for Mrs. Edna Hall, 93, of the Blanton Chapel community, who died Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Latimer in Trenton.  // Rev. George Wilcoxson, pastor of the church, Rev. C. J. Graves of Sherman and Rev. Lewis White of Dodd City, conducted the services.  Burial was in Leonard Cemetery, under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.  // Mrs. Hall was born May 20, 1870 in the Porters community.  She was thedaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Blanton and had lived in the Blanton Chapel community since she was six years old.  On Nov. 15, 1888 she married John F. Hall.  He died in 1935.  She was the oldest member of the Blanton Chapel Church.  // Survivors besides her daughter include three sons, Ben Hall and Floyd Hall of Leonard and Otis Hall of Dodd City; 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 18

JO HALL // Leonard (Spl) - Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Evelyn Hall, 93, of Leonard will be held at Blanton's Chapel Methodist church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.  She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sally Latimer at Trenton, Friday, Oct. 4, 1963.  She was a native of Fannin Co. and a long time member of the Blanton's Chapel Methodist church.  // Officiating will be the Rev.George Wicoxon, pastor of the Blanton Chapel church, the Rev. L. J. Graves and the Rev. Lewis White.  Interment will be in the Leonard cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home directing.  // The survivors are three sons, Ben and Floyd Hall of Leonard, and Otis Hall of Dodd City;daughter, Mrs. Sally Lattimer, Trenton, 23 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.  // Mrs. Hall was born May 20, 1870, in Fannin Co. and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Blanton.  She married John Hall in 1888 and he preceded her in death.  // The body will lie in state at the Blanton's Chapel church from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday.  (Researcher's note:  Josephine Evaline Blanton was granddaughter of Josiah Blanton and Lucy Westbrook and of Joseph R.
