                                     Graveside services for James L. Clinton, age 78 of Red Oak, will be held at 2 P.M.
                                     Monday, October 14, 2002, at the Leonard Cemetery Leonard, Texas  with Charles
                                     Wrenn officiating. Mr. Clinton died Saturday, October 12, 2002, at the Veterans Affairs
                                     Hospital in Dallas. He was born July 6, 1924 in Celeste, Texas the son of William
                                     Clinton and Gladys Stewman Clinton. He was a homebuilder, a 32nd Degree Mason,
                                      was a member of the 40th Bomb Group, the 25th Bomb Squardon WWII, and was
                                      coach of the 1963 undefeated B.B.I. Ponies baseball team. He was survived by his
                                      son, Eddy Clinton and wife Rebecca of Dallas. Daughter, Annette Jett of Tulsa,
                                      Oklahoma. Four Grandchildren, Sparky Clinton of Charleston, S.C., Alison Clinton
                                      of Nashville, Tenn., Kyle Clinton of U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado and Jodi
                                      Jett of  Dallas. One Great--Grandchild, Taylor Jett of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
