OBITUARY: The Denison Herald, Friday, June 29, 1945

       Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the First Methodist Church of Randolph for Marion F. (sic) Blanton, father of Mrs.. Carl Hogg and Mrs. H.C. Robertson of Denison, who died a his home in Denison, Wednesday. The Rev. R. L. Cates of Ector officiated, with burial in the Randolph Cemetery.
    Pallbearers included E. E. McBride, Carl Hogg, H. C. Robertson, Frank McFarland, Jack Murray and Clarence Scroggins. Other survivors are the widow, two sons, Bill and Wright Blanton of Bonham, three other daughters,
      Mrs. E. E. McBride, Sherman, Mrs. Frank McFarland, Ravenna, Mrs. Jack  Murray, Ravenna; two step-sons, Carl Hill, Dallas, and Raymond Hill, overseas with the army; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lester Horn, Ravenna, 
and three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Spicer, Randolph; Mrs. Eva Hall, Leonard, and Mrs. M.A. Hall, Bokchito, Okla.
