was represented in both the Arkansas Legislature
and the Texas Congress."
Fannin County Texas was established in 1838.
All other attemps for
Arkansas to claim the area
now in Texas failed.
Texas became part of the United States in 1845 The boundaries between Arkansas
and Texas was settled
at that time.
