Funeral services for Marlynn Luann Melson, 69, of Route 3, Bonham, who passed away Monday morning at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Wise Funeral Home chapel conducted by Reverends Johnny Johnson and Rollo Davidson.  Burial will be in Willow Wild Cemetery. // Mrs. Melson, a homemaker, was born November 27, 1924 in Athens, (Limestone County) Alabama to Dewey and India Owens Hasten.  She was married to Velvan Melson, September 4, 1947 in Bonham.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church.  / She is survived by her husband of the home; her mother, Mrs. India Hasten of Bonham; one son, Steven Melson of Bonham; two daughters, Teresa Cordick and Brenda Melson, both of Arlington; one brother, Billy D. Hasten of Bonham and five grandchildren.  // The family will be at Wise funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
