born September 25, 1841 in Barry County, Missouri to James Allison
McWilliams and Jedidah Perkins.
b. I have Oscar McWilliams,b. 8-30-1874,
d.7-04-01907, buried in Reilly Springs Cemetery, Hopkins Co., TX.
His parents were George W. McWilliams and Charlotte Molder.His half brother,
D.R. McWilliams, b. 10-31-1861, d. 11-05-1901 is buried in Como Cemetery,
Hopkins Co., TX. D.R.'s parents were George W. McWilliams and E.M.
Hamblin. George McWilliams m. E.M. Hamblin in Barry Co., MO September
12, 1855; E.M. (Margaret, I think) d. when D.R. was born.
Later George W. married Charlotte Molder October 07, 1869 in Fannin County,
TX. George W. McWilliams was born December 24, 1832 in Lafayette
County, Missouri and d. August 08, 1901 in Fannin County. George
W. and his parents, Joseph
McWilliams (b.10-01-1818 d. 08-21-1889) and Jedidah
(Perkins)
McWilliams (b. 12- 29-1812 d. 08- 04-1889) are buried in Gober
Cemetery, Fannin County, TX.
c. I have Leonus McWilliams, a half-brother
of D.R. McWilliams
and brother of Oscar McWilliams. He is buried in Lebanon Cemetery,
Hunt Co., TX According to "Cemetery Inscriptions of Hunt Co., TX, Vol II
"(Thompson), Leonus' tombstone reads"

d. I have Albert McWilliams,

Obviously he is another brother of Leonus and Oscar and half brother
of D.R.

Co., MO and d. March 01, 1922 in Reeves Co., TX. Alice Virginia was
the daughter
of George W. McWilliams and his first wife, E. M. Hamblin.
Alice
Virginia was also the half sister of Leonus, Oscar, and Albert,
see
above and the sister of D.R. McWilliams (b. 1861). Note:
There were
2 D.R. McWilliams, one b. 1841, and I believe the father of your
J.M
(or N) McWilliams, b. 1874) and the other, (b. 1861), was
a son of
the first D.R.'s brother, G.W. McWilliams.

McWilliams(bride) married W.H. Fritz
09-06-1897 in Fannin Co., TX (from "Marriage records of Fannin Co.,
TX
1838-1870"(Ingmire). This was Emily F. McWilliams who was
a sister of
George W. McWilliams above. She was b. 02-09-1850 in Barry
Co., MO
and she d. 11-02-1923. She and her husband, William H.Fritz
are
buried in Celeste Cemetery, Hunt Co., TX. W.H. Fritz was b.
02-14-1837 AR, d. 04-18-1913. In the same cemetery are 2 of
their
children Claudia E. (Fritz) Kennedy and William G. Fritz.
