HAROLD L. McLAIN FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT DENISON
   Final rites ere conducted at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon for Harold L.
McLain, 24, who passed away at the Veterans Hospital, McKinney Tuesday.  The
Rev. W.B. Billingsley, pastor of the First Baptist Church conducted with
burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
   McLain had lived in Denison for the past six months and had been ill four
weeks.  He had been receiving treatment at the hospital for the past two
weeks.  Born in Grayson County, Dec. 20, 1925, he was the son of Mr. and
Mrs. A.W. McLain.  He was married in Bonham Nov. 28, 1948 to the former Miss
Emma Lou Banks.  He was a former president of the Ravenna community and a
member of the Baptist Church.  He served with the navy during World War II.
   Survivors are his parents of Denison, his wife, Martha L. McLain of
Denison, a daughter, Patricia Ann of Denison, a brother Jasper McLain,
Tioga; five sisters, Mrs. Buford Banks, Mrs. Elwood Duckett, both of
Denison; Mrs. Ray Faulkner of Bonham; Mrs. Arnold Reece of Calif and Mrs.
Duane Caylor.
 (Research Note:  Harold Lewis McLain was the grandson of
Nathaniel W. McLain and Mary Morris who were married Tallapoosa Co.,
Alabama.  Harold's relatives include the Hasten and Perry families who
settled in Ellis and Fannin Counties., TX.)

HELEN McLAIN CAYLOR
   Helen France McLain Caylor of Ravenna, formerly of Sherman, Christian
wife & mother, went to be with the Lord April 5, 1999, after brief illness.
   She is survived by her husband of Ravenna, sons, Larry Caylor & wife, Pat
and Jerry Caylor wife, Jana, all of Sherman and Kathy Thompson and husband
Jack all of Bloomburg, Tx; Sister Joyce Duckett of Denison & Thelma Reece of
Stockton, Ca.;  grandson, John Casey, Joshua Caylor, Jess Caylor & Jeb
Caylor;  g-daughter Amy Casey, Beckie Caylor, Marty Alexander & Amanda
Weaver & three g-gchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Odessa Faulkner &
Dorothy Banks. brother J.K. & Harold McLain. & and grandson, Jacob Michael
Thompson.
(Research Note:  Helen France McLain Caylor was the granddaughter
of Nathaniel W. McLain and Mary Morris who were married Tallapoosa Co.,
Alabama.  Helen's relatives include the Hasten and Perry families who
