Mrs. Ida Hughes visited her daughter Mrs.W. O. Reid in New Boston last week. Mrs. W. O. Reid and daughter Mary Ida visited in the Ida Hughes home over the weekend.
Miss Rosland Smith, of Dallas spent the week end with Mrs. Ida Hughes.
Miss Mae Carleton of Bonham spent the weekend with her friend Mrs. F. P.Moring.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Johnson of Snyder visited relatives here over the week end.

Mrs. Alvin Bramlett has returned from the sanitarium in Greenville, and is reported as doing fine.
Miss Celia Joe Bridges has received her Master's degree at E.T.S.T. College, Commerce. She is vacationing in Hot Springs, Ark.
Mrs. Claude Kelly and John Leftwich, formerly Fannie and Ruth Ball, well known here visited friends here Monday.
Allen Picket of Paris was a visitor here Monday. He was formerly on the Santa Fe crew of "Old Bob"
Mrs. R. C. Lawson and daughter Shirley, of Fort Worth and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Bartley of Dallas and Newt Bartley,a student in A & I College, Kingsville, were guests of their pareents Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Bartly Sunday.
John A. Williams of Honey Grove, formerly of Ladonia died Saturday May 24, at the Veterans Hospital of McKinney, at the age of 56 years. Burial was made at Cope Cemetery Sunday 2 p.m. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Claude Stailey, Gainesville, and Mrs. John Simpson, Bells, and several nephews and nieces.

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Daniels, of Dallas, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Daniels, last Sunday.

Mrs. G. H. Jones and Miss Lucy Cowling were business visitors in Greeville recently.

Ladonia ball team will play the Fairlie team at McArthur's field Sunday.
Mr. N. E. Barnett, who suffertd a stroke some weeks ago, is reported as getting along fairly well.
Mr. and Mrs. Willis Day of Dallas spent the weekend with Dr. S. D. Fry.
Mr. and Mrs. John Vidmar, of Ft. Worth spent the weekend in the Bob Stepp home.
W. C. Stepp and family of Handley, was a visitor of his brother, Bobb Stepp, Sunday.
Misses Katherine Walker, Mildred Badey, Lucille Reeves and Juanita Scott of Paris visited here Sunday.
The friends of W. C. Wooten will regret to learn that he suffered a stroke Sunday. He is resting well.

Highland Park team.

of Joe Haden III attended a musical recital at Wolfe City Sunday among

Idella Payne, John Parsons, E. C. Lawhon and Miss Mae Carlton.
Phil Lechner is reported doing very well in Phillips sanitarium at Greenville where he is a patient.
Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Depew
of Old Lynn, Conn.and R. A. Gilliam of Dallas were visitors here last week.
Mr. Depew has been a reader of The News for some time and had been anticipating
a visit to Bugtussle while here - which he did.

White made a business trip to Seagoville over the weekend, they were accompanied
home by their little granddaughter, Johnelle Gaye Sebastian, who will spend
a few days in Ladonia.
