From the Ladonia

Old Directory is Interesting.
A copy of Fannin County
directory published in1899 has a section for the city of Ladonia which
contains the names off many of the early citizens and the officials of
the city, the school, the secret orders, and the churches of Ladonia at
that time. One interesting thing noticed was that every residence
was listed by street and number. At the present time many residents of
the town do not know the names of the street on which they live and few
residents in town have retained their numbers.

at the time the directory was made up were as follows:
