MARTIN H. HASTEN
Muldrow, Okla. - Services for Martin Harold Hasten, 66, will begin
at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church. Internment
will be in the Lees Chapel Cemetery. // A resident of Jeanerette,
Mr. Hasten died Monday, May 22, 1995, at Sparks Regional Medical Center
in OK. // He was a member of the McGowen Methodist Church in Jeanerette,
the Masonic Lodge No. 57 in Franklin and the 32 Degree of the Scottish
Rite of Free Masonry in Baton Rouge. He also was a member of the
Jerusalem Temple of the Shriners AAONMS of New Orleans and the Allen Chapter
of the O.E.S. in Franklin. He was a retired lab supervisor at Cabot
Corporation. // Mr. Hasten is survived by his wife, Jody Hasten of
Jeanerette, three sons, Larry Hasten of LaPlace, Richard Goodyear, Jr.
of Kenner and Mike Hasten of Baton Route; a daughter, Desiree Hasten Isaac
of Houston, a brother Dupree Hasten of Iowa Park, Texas, two sisters, Barbara
Garrison of Ryes, Texas and Marjorie Veillon of Ville Platte; and six grandchildren.
// He was preceded in death by a brother, Hulen Hasten. //
The Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow, Texas (sic -should be Okla.) is in charge
of arrangements.
Contributor's note: Martin H. Hasten was son of Thomas Niles
Hasten and Lena Maude Higgins. He was grandson of Zachariah Roscoe
Hasten, Jr. and Mattie Lou Arnett, who lived in the Ravenna Community and
are buried in the
IOOF Cemetery, Ravenna, Fannin Co., TX.
