MATTIE L. HASTEN DIES WEDNESDAY IN RAVENNA HOME //

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Lou Hasten, 88, of Ravenna, will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Ravenna Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Martin and the Rev. Jimmy Phillips officiating.  Cooper Funeral Home will direct interment in the IOOF Cemetery at Ravenna. //    Mrs. Hasten died at her home in Ravenna, Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1967, at 7 p.m.  She was born Oct. 9, 1878, in Elkmont, Ala., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Arnett. She had made her home in Ravenna for 40 years. //
     Survivors are a son, Glenn Hasten of Ravenna; three daughters, Miss Rowena Hasten, Mrs. Reba Warnell and Mrs. Hazel Trout, all of Ravenna; three daughter-in-laws, Mrs. T.N. Hasten of Baytown and Mrs. Jimmy Hasten and Mrs. Dewey Hasten, both of Bonham; two-half-brothers, Bill and Alvin Arnett of Athens, Al; a half-sister, Mrs. Odessa Sanderson of Athens, Ala, 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. // Mrs. Hasten was a member of the Methodist church.
