HASTEN
   Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday for Thomas Niles Hasten, 60, of Route 2, Dayton, who died at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D.G. Garrison of 606 Pamela, at 7:30 a.m. Monday. 
   Sister Ruth Forbus, pastor of the Non-Denominational Church of Baytown, will officiate at services of Paul U. Lee Chapel.  Burial will be in Ryan Cemetery under direction of Paul U. Lee Funeral Home. 
   Hasten is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lena Maude Hasten at Dayton; three sons, W.H. Hasten of Dayton, Niles Dupree Hasten of Bloomfield, N.M., and Martin Harold Hasten of Pampa; two daughters, Mrs. Burnett Veillon of Ville Platte, La., and Mrs. Garrison; mother, Mrs. Mattie Lou Hasten of Ravenna, Tex.; two brothers, Dewey Hasten of Dallas and Glen Hasten of Ravenna; three sisters, Mrs. Woodrow Warnell, Mrs. Carl Trout and Miss Rowena Hasten of Ravenna; 13 grandchildren.
(researcher's note:Thomas Niles Hasten was the son of Zachariah Roscoe Hasten Jr. and Mattie Lou Arnett, who are buried in the IOOF Cemetery, Ravenna, Fannin Co., TX. He was the g-grandson of Zachariah R. Hasten, Sr. and Anna Eliza Hargrove, who are buried in the Hasting Cemetery, Limestone Co., AL and gg-grandson of Ezekiel Hastings and Elizabeth Ann Dunnavant, who are also buried in the Hasting Cemetery, Limestone Co., AL.  In today's world three variant spellings of Hastings surname are used by descendants of Ezekiel Hastings, with the "H-a-s-t-e-n" spelling predominately used by descendants of Zachariah R. Hasten Sr.)

WOODROW WARNELL
   RAVENNA - Services for Woodrow Warnell, 58 year old retired Southwest Pump Co. punch operator who died Wednesday at his home in Ravenna will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Wise Funeral Home Chapel.
   Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ravenna.
   Mr. Warnell was born in Fannin County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Warnell.
   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Reba Hasten Warnell, of Ravenna, daughter, Mrs. Donna Sewell of Ravenna, brothers R.R. Warnell, J.R. Warnell and Rayburn Warnell, all of Bonham and two grandchildren.
   Pallbearers will be Randy Warnell, Ronnie Nutt, Stephen Warnell, Terry Warnell, Craig Nichols and Ricky Nichols.

EARNEST A. MILLER
   Services for Earnest A. Miller of Jal will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 at First United Methodist Church in Jal.  The Rev. Arol Steverson and Rev. Pattie Butts will officiate.
   Mr. Miller, 82, died Friday at Permian General Hospital in Andrews, Texas.  He was born in Hallet, Okla., on August 16, 1914.
   He was a retired teacher.  He married Alvena (sic - Lora Alvenia) Womack in Edmond, Okla., on December 19 1935.  She preceded him in death on May 1966.  He was a resident of Timberon for 17 years and previous resident of Jal for 38 years.
   Survivors include his sister, Nola Rogers of Eureka, Kansas; grandsons David Chesser of Hal (sic - Jal) and Chris Chesser of Hobbs; and four great grandchildren.
(Research note:  Earnest A. Miller's wife Lora Alvenia Womack was the daughter of Bright Bunyon Womack and Glenna Martha Williams.  She was the granddaugher of William Melton Womack, M.D. and Lydia Magdalene "Maggie Alice" Blanton and the g-granddaughter of Fannin Co., TX pioneers Stephen 
Fletcher Blanton and Sarah McDaniel.)

   Funeral services for a former Jal woman, Alvena (sic Alvenia) Miller, 86, of Tibetan has been planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Jal. 
   Burial will be in the Jal Cemetery with the Rev. Dick Richards of the First Methodist Church of Jal and the Rev. Arol Steverson of the First baptist Church of Granite, Okla., officiating.
   Born Aug. 14, 1917 in Waurika, Okla., she died Sunday in the Jal Hospital.
   She married Ernest (sic Earnest) Miller on Dec. 19, 1935 in Edmond, Okla.   Survivors include her husband of the Home; a daughter, Loralie Chesser of Jal; two sisters Phyllis Myers of Mangum, Okla., and Jeannie Steverson of Granite; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
   Cooper Funeral Home in Kermit is in charge of the arrangements.
