RAVENNA WOMAN DEAD
Monday, February 29, marked the passing of Mrs. W. E. Haston (sic
- should be Hasten)of Ravenna. She was well-loved in the community
and will be missed by her numerous friends. The family had been living
in the community for a number of years, having moved there from Ellis Co..
Mrs. Haston was a native of Georgia. // Mrs. Haston is survived by
her husband, two step-children, Mrs. Floy Perry and Mr. Ernest Haston,
nine grandchildren, a sister and a brother. All the surviving relatives
were present at the funeral except a grandson. // Mrs. Haston had
been a member of the
Methodist church since 1897. // The funeral service was held Monday
evening at 8 o'clock at the family home. On Tuesday, the body was
taken to the family cemetery in Ellis Co.. Both services were conducted
by the Rev. Thos. Reece of this city. A number of relatives and friends
accompanied the body to Ellis Co.. // Wise Funeral Home transported remains
to Ellis Co., TX for burial.
