Annie McAlister
was b. 25 Aug.1875 in Tennessee (probably born in Bradley County )She was
married in Bradley County to George W Haney on 19 Feb 1893. She died while
living near Whitewright, Texas on 17 April 1900 and was buried in the Buchanan
Family Cemetery near Randolph in Fannin County,Texas. She was the mother
of two children, Henry Lee Haney born 23 November 1893 and Thomas Raymond
Haney born 30 July 1895. Both sons were born in Bradley County, Tennessee.
I believe Annie
was living or visiting in Fannin County while a
teenager for I have a photo of her
and a younger girl taken in Bonham, Texas. Annie had red hair and blue
eyes. The younger girl was blonde. I do not have any information on Annie's
parents or siblings.
Henry Lee Haney, known as Lee Haney, served in France during WWI,and died in Fort Worth Texas on 16 Mar 1972. He was twice married and divorced, but had no children.
Thomas Raymond Haney, known as Tom Haney, also served in France during
WWI and died in Long Beach, California on 22 June 1951. He was married
to Hazel Evelyn Moore, daughter of John and Sarah Moore of Wichita Falls,
Texas, and they had two children. Jimmie Lee Haney, known as Jim Haney,
born Lone Oak, Texas 24 April 1925, died Anaheim, California 3 April 1999
and Nell LaVerne Haney Scolette, born 17 May 1927 in Munday, Texas.She
lives now
in New Jersey.
