The Goss Family was origially from Alabama. Joe Goss's Father
was J.F. Goss and he was a physician, his wife was Frances ?.
They settled in the NE corner of Fannin County  and had nine
children one of whom was Joe Goss  (1870-1950). Joe wed first
to Fannie Markham and later to Beatrice Hamil.
      This area was home to the Newt Post office.
