"Northwest corner of the square circa 1946 - This photograpoh came to us as a result of our recent article concernaing the Cain Detective Agency. That article reportedly sent quite a few people to their scrapbooks and old billfolds to see if they still had their original CDA membership card. The Magnolia Station was the headquarters of the group, and was dubbed "604 Magnolia Building". The Cain Detective Agency stated that the Magnolia Building in Dallas, then the largest fixture on the skyline, was insignificant because all the company's problems were solved during the "board meetings" here in Ladonia. Bill Wilson and Johany Feagley have owned the station in recent years, and it is now operated by Karen Crews of Ladonia. " Karen Crews was later Karen Wilkerson
