by Ron BrothersTHIS IS NOT A COMPLETE LIST. PLEASE HELP US BUILD THE DATABASE ***Notes on John Rudolph Anderson, buried in Fannin Co.. He was born in Henry Co. TN, served in the TN 7th Calvary, rode with Nathan Bedford Forrest and was present at the surrender. He and his 2nd wife (my gr grandmother Mattie Myrick, came to Fannin Co in the early 1880s. Both are buried in Moores Chapel. Both drew Confederate pensions. He died in 1921. She died June 1, 1934 They have three sons and a daughter buried in Fannin Co. An unmarked grave in the family plot in Moores Chapel contains the remains of Mattie's mother, Louisa Palmere Myrick Lawrence, who died in the flu epidemic of 1918 and was hastily thrown in the grave. She was born in Henry Co in 1838.
