Wise Funeral Home Record of an Estes
Goar who died at age 23
27 Feb.1923, buried in "Telephone'
Cemetery. The book includes entry's from Forest Grove
so I think this is the right cemetery
for him.
The person who authorized the burial
is Jno. W.Goar
* additional note from Billie Goar:
"Estes was my Grandpa Goar's (John Wesley Goar) youngest sibling and they
called him Ess. Both their parents died when the 3 children were young
and they were split up and lived with different relatives. The middle child
was Etta Fay (Goar) Waller - Harris. They were all 3 born at Telephone,
Texas to Joseph Allen Goar and Laura F. (Lankford) Goar. " Estes Goar was
born in 1800 or 1900"
Their was another child - Mary C. Goar
was born August 5, 1893 at Telephone, Texas
she died early and there is no record
of her death, she is thought to be buried here in
the Telephone Cemetery.
