Ernest was the son of James Washington Van Hooser and Mary Isabelle Pitchford. In your cemetery listing on R 11 you have a Jane W. and a Mary I. This is in fact James Washington Van Hooser and his wife Mary Isabelle Pitchard. I have a photo of there grave markers and James is spelled as James and not Jane.

James Washington Van Hooser was born January 18, 1863 in Webster County, Mossouri and he died January 13, 1944 in Ravenna, Fannin County, Texas. His wife mary Isabelle ( Pitchford ) Van Hooser was born February 14, 1865, Place Unknown and died January 28, 1936 in Ivanhoe, Fannin County, Texas."

Adam's Family Note: John C. Adams was a son of Edmund Hunt Adams and his first wife, Amanda Jane Ballard. Edmund was a son of Absolom Adams & grandson of William Adams. I have more information on the Adams family in GA, TN, etc. I descend from Absolom's brother, John.

" Edna Jewel, ten months old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Paul Gaines

died early this morning at the family home near Ivanhoe. The funeral will be held this afternoon. The interment will take place at the Bettis Grave yard" Fannin County Favorite 17 Oct. 1918 (during the flu epidemic)
