BOKCHITO FARMER DIES; RITES SET - Bokchito- Samuel F. Hall of Rt. 1, Bokchito died Saturday in a local hospital.  He had lived most of his life
in Bryan county.  He was 71.
   Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Free Holiness church of Bokchito.
The Revs. Monroe McNally and George Allen will officiate.  Burial will be in Bokchito cemetery under direction of the Murray Funeral home.
   Hall was born Feb. 4, 1896 in Leonard, Tex., and farmed most of his life.He was a member of the Baptist faith.   The countian married Sept. 11, 1915 in Caddo to Alice Whisenant, who survives.  Also surviving are four Sons, Leon of Ft. Worth, Tex., Vernon of Borger, Tex., Lewis of Phillips, Tex., and Guy of Fallon, Nev.; a daughter, Mrs. Inez Wright of Manteca, Calif; two brothers, Melvin of Bokchito, Guy of Durant, and a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Brister of Bokchito.
   Pallbearers will be James Robinson, James Ingram, all Prentice, Leslie Browning, Douglas Deal and Paul Ogden. (researcher's comment: Samuel F. Hall was son of Walter Lonzo Hall and Mary Ann Almira "Myra" Blanton.  He was the grandson of Richard H. Hall and Jane Elizabeth Jolly and of the Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone, all of Fannin Co., TX.)

SIDNEY TAYLOR RITES SATURDAY - Bokchito - Funeral services were held in the BOKCHITO Baptist church Saturday for Sidney Johnson Taylor, 87-year-old Bryan county pioneer, who died suddenly of a heart attack at his home here Friday.
   Services were conducted by Rev. O.K. Bowen, and burial under direction of Murray Funeral (sic) service, was in the Bokchito cemetery.
   A native of Alabama, Taylor was born October 31, 1874.  He had lived in Bryan county 42 years and was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist church.
   Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of the home address; four sons, Charlie Taylor, Bennington, Luther Taylor, Durant; George Taylor, Gilbert, Ariz; and Carl (?--blurred can not read) Taylor Bokchito; four daughters, Mrs. Julia McCarty, Apache; Mrs. Sie McCarty, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Bessie Gilbreath, Hartshorne; and Mrs. Elmer Robinson, Bokchito; 42 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.   (Sidney Taylor's 2nd wife and widow was Margaret Elizabeth Keller Blanton Seals Jones Taylor.  Margaret  was the
daughter of George William Keller and  Julia Ann Easton Sturdivant.
Margaret's first husband was John E.A. Blanton, the son of Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone.)

RALPH LEE EARLEY - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at L.P. Coffey Memorial Chapel for Ralph Lee Earley, 77, of Durant, who died Friday, Feb. 9, 1996, in Durant.  The Rev. Ray Earley will officiate.
   The son of Edmond Dean Earley and Addie Velma (Layton) Earley, he was born Saturday, Aug. 17, 1918, in Lehigh.
   Mr. Earley had retired in 1991 from the City of Durant Street Department where he was a truck driver.  He was a Baptist.   He married Kathryn Ruth Spicer on Feb. 6, 1941, in Hugo.   He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, two brothers, a son-in-law Ronnie Vaughn, and a grandson, Tommy Earley.
   Survivors include his wife, Kathryn, of the Durant home; four sons, Benny Earley and wife, Betty, of Enos, Jerry Earley and wife, Aggalee, of Caddo, Daniel Earley an wife, Janet of Durant and Joe Earley and wife, Donna, of Denison, Texas; two daughters, Mary Loeffler and husband, Jim of Durant, and Lea Ann Vaughn of Madill; two brothers, Clyde Earley of Bakersfield, Calif., and Audie Earley of Ohio; two sisters, Opal Benner of Hisperia, Calif., and Clarita Williams of Oceanside, Calif; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
   Internment will be in the Bokchito Cemetery under the direction of Murray
Funeral Home.
   Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
   The family will receive friends at their home.  (researcher's note:Kathryn Ruth Spicer, widow of Ralph Earley, parents are Benjamin Foster Spicer and Dollie Bodine.  Kathryn's grandparents are Aldine Evans Fanellan
Spicer and Virginia Lucy Blanton.  Her maternal grandparents are Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone of Fannin Co., TX.)
