ZETTIE BROWNING - Trenton - Funeral service for Zettie Browning, 85, of Trenton, who died March 10, 1996, at Wilson N. Jones Memorial Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Trenton.  The Rev. James Henry officiated.  Burial was in Burns Cemetery under the direction of Earnheart Funeral Home.
   Survivors include two sons, James Claude Browning of Trenton and Clarence Browning Jr. of Mesquite; a (half) brother, Tommy Glenn Hall of Lake Lavon; a sister, Pauline Daughrity; nine grandchildren; and several
great-grandchildren.  Her great-grandparents were the Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone and Richard H. Hall and Jane Elizabeth Jolly.

BEN HALL - Leonard- Funeral for Ben Hall, 88 of Leonard who died Friday in a McKinney hospital, will be held today at 4 p.m. at Blanton chapel Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Leonard Cemetery under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.
   Hall was born Dec. 12, 1889 in Leonard.  He was a retired farmer and a Methodist.  He married Mrs. Hettie (aka Hattie) Brake, May 1926 in Leonard.
 Survivors are seven daughters, Mrs. Ernest Horn, Mrs. H.M. Nesbitt, Mrs.Purnie Hurt, Caddo, Mrs. Bud Browning Mrs. Sam Daughirty (sic - Daughrity) Trenton, (step daughter) Mrs. Ruby Minchey, and Mrs. James Smith, Leonard; three sons; Tommy Hall, McKinney, S.P. Brake of Plano, and Robert Brake,Slaton; a brother Odis Hall, Bonham, and 31 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. (researcher's note -Benjamin Richard Hall was the son of  John Franklin Hall and Josephine
Evaline Blanton.  His grandparents were the Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone and and Richard H. Hall and Jane Elizabeth Jolly.)

PERNA LOCKRIDGE - Caddo - Funeral for Miss Perna Lockidge, 71, who died yesterday in a Durant hospital, will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Caddo Church of Christ under the direction of the Coffey Funeral Home, Durant.
Burial will be in the Caddo Cemetery.
   Miss Lockridge was born Jan. 23, 1912, in Leonard.  She was a 47-yer resident of Caddo, a retired seamstress and a member of the Caddo Church of Christ.
   She is survived by two (half) brothers, Gene Whitworth of Trenton and Tommy Hall of Princeton; four (full) sisters, Mrs. Zettie Browning and Pauline Daughrity of Trenton and Mrs. Mable Nesbitt and Mrs. Susie Horn of Caddo.
   The family will meet at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 until 8:30.
(researcher's note:  Perna Opal Hall, daughter of Benjamin Richard Hall and  Mattie Mae Scroggins, was the granddaughter of John Franklin Hall and Josephine Evaline Blanton.  Her great-grandparents were the Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone and Richard H. Hall and Jane Elizabeth Jolly. Perna married Homer Lockridge in May 24, 1930.  Homer predeceased Perna by many years.  Mrs. Susie Horn was actually Gertrude Eretti Hall who married  Ernest F. Horn.  Eugene Whitworth was the son of Mattie Mae Scroggins Hall and Richard Eugene Whitworth.  Tommy Hall was the son of Benjamin F. Hall and Hatti Ferguson Brake.)
