MRS. WALTER BADGETT - Denison - Funeral for Mrs. Walter A. Badgett, 94, who died Wednesday at a local hospital, will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Johnson=-Moore
Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. // Rev. Joe D. Ray will officiate. // She was born Dec. 8, 1883, in Bethel, Tex., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Blanton. She was married on Sept. 26, 1905, to Walter A. Badgett. He died Dec. 30, 1944. She was a music teacher
and a member of the First Baptist Church. // Survivors include three sons, Howard, College Station, James R. (Bud), Lordsburg, N. Mex., and Joe, Austin, one daughter, Lucille, Denison; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, // Pallbearers will be
Ward Marlow, Winfield Brannon, Kenneth Wilson, Mike Sammon, Ray Trimble and Franklin Yarbrough. // Family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.

Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Edward Blanton and Mary Feagans of Rutherford Co., NC. Her maternal grandparents were Stephen Fletcher Blanton and Sarah McDaniel. Her maternal great-grandparents were Jeremiah Blanton and Sarah Rebecca Womack of Rutherford Co., NC.
