George W. DOOLEY migrated from Lincoln CO TN to Texas about 1846. He aquired a land patent from land in the Peters Colony about 1846. However he did not settle there instead his land was eventually located in Ellis County. I have been able to trace only one of his children, my gg grandfather James C. Dooley who settled in Stephens CO TX in 1870. Other children were George Dooley, William Dooley & Frances Dooley. Where would the 1870 marriage records for Fannin County be located? Anna Rogers Key

Hello, I am trying to find the name and address for someone in Fannin County, Texas who could help me find some information. I realize your page may not help but if you could give me some help it would be appreciated. My name is John Barrow, and I live in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. I am trying to find some information on a relative who lived in Fannin in the early 1900's. His name is John T. Barrow, and his father's name is James Cullen Barrow. I understand there are 2 cemeteries in the Fannin area, Carson and Bettis Cem. Do you know of any way I could get a list of the residents to see if my relative may be buried in either of these cemeteries? If you could give me some direction it would be very welcomed. Thank you for your time. My address is [email protected] Have a great day and Roll Tide.
