Unknown Kelly
This is a picture found among Josie Kelly Treadaway’s things.  It could be from the Kelly family, Treadaway, or perhaps the Watkins family.  If anyone could help us identify this family we would appreciate it so much.  And thank you for your help.

Unknown Woman
Another picture found among my wife’s grandmothers things.  Grandmother was Josie Kelly Treadaway,  married to J.W. Treadaway, lived in Falls county most of life.  Josie Treadaway’s parents were
S.O. Kelly & Josephine Mathews Kelly.  The Watkins family was closely interwoven with these family names.
Hope someone can recognize this lady in the photo.  Notice it says J.F. Rush, Photographer, Rosebud, Texas on the bottom of the photo.
Thanks for your help.

Touring car with (Mica) Isinglass curtains. These curtains were put on when rain or cold weather threatened - otherwise the occupants were exposed to the weather. Usually they were stored under the seats until needed. This car, pride of the family, probably had just been washed inside and out - see bucket on the running board. Whose car was it?

Lady in Victorian Dress

This lady in Victorian dress is holding what looks like a diploma or certificate in her hand. She wears a brooch at the collar - and her hair is pulled back to be caught into a bun at the back of her head. (This picture was made at W. H. Wiseman, Resident Photographer, Newberry S. C.) This well could be my great-grandmother Mary Johnson Stone of MS.

Ida Unknown

This is a picture of a lady by the name of Ida. The last name is unknown to me at this time.

I found this picture in my box of Houston/Huston and Mercer families and Ida is the only name written on the back.

On the page of Friends, Relatives and Neighbors Pictures of the Criswell Families on this site, there are some pictures of Ida (Watters) Latham. I am wondering if this is the same Ida. It is possible that this Ida was from Alto, Cherokee, Co., Texas area.

4 Men & 1 Lady

This is a newspaper picture of 4 men & 1 Lady.

I have no idea who these people are or where or when it was taken. The tall man in the dark suit may be my great-grandfather, Jesse Cornelius Williams, b. c 1851 in Alabama. Ned Williams's name was actually also Jesse but he was apparently always called Ned. I have wondered if perhaps this was a group photo of some of the folks from the Old Settlers and Veterans Organization.

Two Young Men All Dressed Up

Two Young Men All Dressed Up.

This picture has the name Sink, Calvert, Texas at the bottom. I don't know if Sink was the photographer, owner, or the name of his studio. But they did have a location in Calvert. I don't know of anyone named Sink in town, but, of course, a lot of businesses left Calvert. Calvert is about 30 miles south of Marlin, on Highway 6, and about 30 miles north of Bryan/College Station about 60 miles south of Waco, 100 miles east of Austin, and 130 miles north of Houston.
