The following is an alphabetized roster of Civil War veterans from Falls County
that were in the regiment initially called the Fifth Texas Mounted Volunteers,
Sibley’s Brigade, then designated the Fifth Texas Cavalry. The men were in
Company B of the Regiment. This lancer company was recruited by Captain Willis
L. Lang of Falls County. Note there may be some errors and duplications due to
the confusion of listings in the sources. The following sources were used in
