The two pictures from Boyce are from 1913 and seem to have been taken on the same day. The one of only girls has this written on the reverse: Boyce High School Girls, 1913 Left to Right 1. Eugenia Eads 2. 3. Ethel Sharp 4. Massie Sloeum 5. Bobbye Tate 6. 7. Ione Bivings 8. Odessa Ledwell 9. Massie Sloeum 10. Maurine Goddard 11. Jewel Lightsey It looks like my great-grandmother (Bobbye Tate Cates) went back and filled in some of the blanks later on because while the caption and list is written in pen, some of the names are written in pencil. Numbers 3, 9, 10, and 11 are written in pencil, and if you'll notice, Massie Sloeum is labeled twice (4 and 9). I would assume the first girl labeled as such was the correct one.
